Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy Announces Request For Applications
2024-25 Research Grant Initiative For Early Language and Literacy Practices
The Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy invites applications from University System of Georgia Institutions and State Agencies examining the implementation of evidence-based and evidence-informed practices to support the development of early language and literacy within organizations working with children and families from birth through age 8. Each organization receives up to $50,000 for project implementation. The deadline for applications is 5pm on November 27, 2023.
Eligible applications must exhibit the following characteristics:
- Eligible applicants include University System of Georgia institutions and Georgia state agencies.
- Cross-sector collaboration between the primary applicant and at least one partner organization. Examples include GA Department of Public Health and Emory University School of Nursing; Georgia State University and the Rollins Center, Atlanta Speech School; University of Georgia and the McPhaul Childhood Development Lab
