“We are excited about Get Georgia Reading’s reach into local Georgia communities and with other policy sectors that are critical to ensuring we meet our literacy goals.”

Jennifer Rippner, Executive Director of Education Policy and Partnership and Coordinator

Alliance of Education Agency Heads (AEAH) is a partnership of the state’s education agency leaders and the Governor’s Office designed to coordinate education-related activities from preschool through college throughout the state. AEAH is proud to partner with the Get Georgia Reading Campaign to increase early childhood literacy rates.

Among other activities, the agency heads are currently focusing on teacher and leader preparation and effectiveness in the area of early childhood literacy. Preparation on literacy education is important for teachers and those who lead and support them.
